Position Summary
LidWorks is seeking an experienced Controller to join our team in an on-site leadership role. The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, tax compliance, and audit activities. This position is responsible for leading the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, supporting strategic business decisions through financial analysis, and maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Duties:
- Direct and coordinate company financial planning and budget management functions.
- Oversee the activities of the Corporate Accounting Department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports, including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.
- Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of divisions and departments.
- Oversee daily operations of the finance department.
- Manage the preparation of the official annual report of actual revenues, transfers, and expenses.
- Prepare financial analysis for contract negotiations and product investment decisions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
- Assure corporate tax compliance to ensure accurate and timely completion of all corporate income tax returns, taking full advantage of all favorable tax.
- Establish and implement short-and-long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
- Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Must have 8 to 10 years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
- Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking working knowledge. Very computer-friendly, spreadsheet proficient (hardware and software).
